Dan and Donna Sullivan followed their hearts on a journey that brought them to settle in the town of Ontonagon in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Purely by chance, the River St. apartment that they now live in is the same one that Dan’s father was living in when he first set eyes on Dan’s mother from the kitchen window some 60 years ago.

 

This very building is where Dan & Donna have also founded Onto’s Mercantile, the home of The Olde Swing Bridge Coffee Roasting Company. The roastery is a natural extension of their desire to bring about the positive feelings that stem from shared history and community experiences. How better to do this than over a cup of finely crafted and perfectly roasted coffee?

Their journey will continue through the creation of superior roasts acquired from quality origins and sustainable growers. Additionally, The Olde Swing Bridge Coffee Roasting Company will host workshops allowing visitors to experience the entire roasting process, from seed to cup. Those unable to visit in person will not be left out, as Dan and Donna will post these cupping sessions via their website, Facebook, and YouTube.
